ATM negative step

I would like to have an ATM strategy to average into a losing position, i.e on a long entry, place target at +5 ticks, stop at -10 ticks. If market moves against me, at -7 ticks, average in with additional contract, with stop at -3 ticks. It looks like the tick steps in the ATM stop strategy cannot be negative, can this be done with ATM? If not, any ideas how to implement otherwise in NT?

Correct, this can't be done in an ATM strategy. You could program what you wish in a pure NinjaScript strategy.

Any plans to add that functionality? I know many frown on averaging in on losing positions, but this is a standard entry strategy of one of NT's education partner companies.

Are there any plans to implement averaging down in the ATM strategies?
