All indicators are shifted one day back on chart

I am quite new to Ninjatrader and I am struggling in setting up correctly my charts.

1. I am using the free Yahoo connection. Therefore, I only get the data as of yesterday EOD.
2. The instrument I am using for my test is an ETF (GDX) and the session settings are set to US equities RTH

The problem I get is the following: For yesterday (the 6th of January), the price data is plotted correctly. However, all indicators (Volume, Rate of change, RSI, etc) are all shifted back one day. In other words, to get yesterday volume, I have to go over the data of the 3rd of January.

That does not make any sense to me and seems unusable as I can no longer rely on these indicators as trading triggers.

This would likely be due to the Calculate On Bar Close setting you are using from this indicator.


Please right click on your chart--> select Indicators--> locate your applied indicator--> ensure that "Calculate on Bar Close" is set to "false".


This will ensure that your indicator is updating on current data (each incoming tick), rather than waiting for the bar to close to plot the indicator.
