    No L1 replay data

    Hey,

    Sorry for my ignorance, but I can't download replay data for forex (eurusd and gbpusd) for yesterday (6th Jan).

    I've also tried downloading data throughout December, as well as other months, and can't download that either.

    Keep getting an error message saying that no L1 data is available.

    Would love some help?

    Are your servers down?

    Just noticed that the indexes listed in default are still 12-13, not 13-14 - is this what the problem is? For forex as well?

      Hello and welcome to the forums,

      Great catch with the expiry dates. When downloading replay data you will need to ensure to use the correct expiry.

      Please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.

      From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
      Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
      Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
      Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date


      In regards to FX there is a current issue with the data server and there will be an attempt to restore this data in the near future.

            No worries.

            The one I tried of those two only seems to update data at end of week (no data for yesterday yet).

            Think will just wait until your replay data is available again.
