CQG Live demo candles not moving but connected

Hi all, I got the CQG live demo for 21 days and this is my 3d day. Yesterday I left the chart and today I see it is connected green but candles are not moving just sitting at around midnight yesterday 94.31 and not moving anymore. I disconnected and connected again, but still not moving. How can I fix this

I think the demo resets on friday , try reconnecting today.
The demo does that to me quite often.
I noticed it mostly on friday but it may be something else.

The markets are currently closed which is why you don't see any streaming data coming in. When the markets re-open they will move.

Never knew that the markets close. When do they close and when do they open? Are they closed every weekend? Can you point me to some schedule?

can someone translate these hours to plain English cause they look a bit confusing to me



market is not moving today so it is supposed to be closed. What I don't know is what Sunday - Friday means? 6pm 5.15pm? Does that mean that is only closed on Saturday? And then on the bottom says Monday to Friday?????

Take CME Globex (which includes the most popular contract - the ES).

Monday trading starts at 6pm Sunday night US ET (this is to cater for round the world markets - for instance where I live, 6pm Sunday US ET is actually Monday morning - well midday to be precise).

Monday trading then goes through to 5.15pm Monday USA ET where upon there is a 45 minute break and the electronic market will start again at 6pm USA ET for TUESDAY trading. Tuesday trading will go right through Monday night and all day Tuesday until 5.5pm USA ET.

This pattern continues until Friday when the market stops for the weekend at 5.15pm USA ET.

Different contracts can have different start and stop times. Also watch out for holidays which often change the trading hours.

Correct. The markets (specifically giving you the times here for CME which trades the ES) are closed for the weekend from Friday 5.15pm USA ET till Sunday 6pm USA ET.
