Delay in order getting filled

Hi,
I am using a demo account for Ninjatrader with CQG feed.
sometimes there is a delay in order getting filled, after i place an order on DOM, even though market is slow/not volatile, due to holiday season.

Is the order execution for ninjatrader slower than X trader or cqg?
will it be the same for the live account or will order execution improve/worsen for a live account?
Can i do something to improve this. I've read through other threads but deleting databse history does not seem to improve this.
I'm only bothered about fill time in a live feed. thanks

Thanks for your post.

When trading to the sim101 account order fills will be based of the settings used for the sim101 account. Live orders will operate different depending on the market conditions.
If you wanted to enforce immediate fills while demoing/sim trading NinjaTrader you can do so by going to Tools> Options> Simulator and selecting Enforce Immediate Fills

Well i do not want to enforce order fill, since it wouldnt really help in a live environment.
I am only bothered if this delay would be the same in a live account?
is the order fill time more in NT compared to Xtrader or CQG platforms?

No there should not be much of any difference in the order fill times between platforms.
You will not see the same order fills live. The fills will depend on market conditions. NinjaTrader puts general settings in for simulation to account for possible slippage that can occur in the live market.
