how to get histData and backTest off line

I'm using the demo version of FXCM and the demo version of NinjaTrader. I'd like to know how do I go about downloading historical data from FXCM or Kenetic and running StrategyAnalyzer off line for best testing and optimization.

Thanks for writing in.

To access more historical data and to be able to download it quicker please us the NinjaTrader servers.
To do this fist disconnect from FXCM
Next go to Tools> Account Connections
Select your FXCM account and press Change
Select Next
Ensure Use NinjaTrader Servers is checked under Historical Data
Select next, Next ,and Finished
Connect to FXCM

You can download historical data by either opening a chart with the desired Days To Load or download data by going to Tools> Historical Data Manager> Download

Once you have done either of these the historical data will be saved to your system and you can backtest it even when disconnected.
