    Failed to verify license

    Hi good morning,

I am trying to install and conect NT without success. After installation I introduce the license key but I receive the next message (Failed to verify license. Please Try again in few minutes).

The computer works under Windows 7 Enterprise and it´s conected to internet through a proxy. It´s a computer of company and all the traffic had to pass through the proxy.

The IT guys tell me that the are not problems to open any ports to allow to connect NY but they need what is.

We have modificed the file NinjaTrader.es.config --> from proxy usesystemdefault="false" to "true" but we have the same problem.

    Any ideas???

    Hello chien1,

You should be able to use NinjaTrader through a proxy server as follows. These instructions ensure license verification does not fail.

Open the file C:\Program Files\<NinjaTrader Folder>\bin\NinjaTrader.exe.config using MS Notepad or any other text editor
Replace the text "False" with "True"
    Save the file
    Restart NinjaTrader

NinjaTrader will now use your PC settings for the proxy server.

In addition, there are three main reasons why this message appears.

    - Your license is truly invalid. Please send me the license key you have entered. You can send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Att Jason, 974967' in the subject header.

    - The license key has been entered incorrectly. Please ensure that an incorrect character or space has not been entered at the end of your license key. Also, if the character "@" is present in the License Key we sent you, please include that as well, as it is part of the key.

    - The most common reason is that a firewall on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing NinjaTrader from accessing our license servers. To test this, please disable all firewalls and then restart NinjaTrader and see if it works. If yes, you just need to add ninjatrader.com to the exception list (safe list) for your firewall software
