Closing out a position manually

Hey guys, what happens if you close out 50% of a position that is currently being managed by a strategy? Would you need to deactivate the strategy and then manually manage the other 50% or does the strategy take into account that it now only has 50% less?

If you place a manual exit order at have your positions size, it is likely your strategy and account position would become out of sync. In other words the strategy would keep placing trades as if it was still at the 100% amount but your account itself would be at a smaller size.
