Charts getting compressed

I use tick charts; tick charts for other instruments are working fine, but not for gold. For GC 12-13 every tick chart - whether 500 ticks or 5000 ticks - is showing just one bar for yesterday. Reloading doesn't seem to change this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thank you for clarifying. When I test a 150 tick chart on my end, I see 13 price bars for yesterday. Today has three price bars.

Please note that the GC already rolled over to the 02-14 expiry. So the 12-13 is not very volatile anymore.

Do you see one bar for yesterday when you create a 500 tick chart? It is as expected that only 1 bar of 5000 ticks is shown for yesterday. I only load 13 x 150 tick bars (1950 ticks).

Thanks. Changing to 02-14 sorted the problem.

Is there any way for NT to automatically rollover to the new expiry? With instruments like ES, for example, Zen-Fire doesn't provide the continuous contract (@ES.D) so it would be convenient if the futures rolled over without requiring any input from the user.

Unfortunately this is not supported. You will need to manually rollover the futures.
