Attaching drawings to different time frames
When I draw something like a trend line on a certain time frame and attach it to all charts of the same instrument, sometimes the line ends up "wobbling" on the time frames other than the original one. What I mean by "wobbling" is the position of the line keeps changing when the chart is stretched or zoomed in/out. Why is this and how do I fix it? Any help is appreciatedTags: None

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you please provide an image example?
Do the anchor points of the drawing object appear to change in price?
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

Please see the attached image, the anchors don't change and when I check the line property the data remains the same no matter the zoom. What you see in the image is complete 1 point difference in the position of the line on the ES futures. Sometimes the difference is 2 points or more.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHello,

Is there anyway I can fix this so the lines remain in one position? There wouldn't be a use to the drawings if they keep changing position.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHello,
Thank you for getting back to me.
If the anchor points remain the same the object is being drawn correctly. There can be differences in the angle of a line based on the spacing of bars however.

Thanks for the help but I've changed the bar width and it doesn't make any difference. Changing the spacing is what causes the change in the line position so I'm not sure what you mean by "adjusting the spacing".Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHello,
Drawing object anchor points will always remain the same between charts. Adjusting the bar spacing and width in your charts will help to more closely match drawing object display angles across charts.
