        Hello robje737,

        Moving forward, without doing a test with a mail client such as outlook or thunderbird with your custom smtp server, I will not be able to ensure that your programs smtp server is working correctly.

        This is because NinjaTrader is able to successfully send mail using gmail's smtp server without issue.

        Please perform this test so that I may continue troubleshooting NinjaTrader if needed.

          In reference to post #31;

          attached is a picture ( server 1) of my software that shows it received the mail last night ( although not correct format, but that is because it wasn't a tradesignal email). So ninja trader gave the message "send correctly" en it did work

          Now on server2 Ninja trader gave the error for the message.

          That should be enough evidence that somehow there is a problem with NT in server2, correct?

                    Can you confirm the NinaTrader version on both servers? 7.0.1000.16?

                      I see we're using on server1 version 7.0.1000.11 (no problems)
                      on server2 version 7.0.1000.16 (with problems).

                            Yes if you would like to downgrade the NinjaTrader currently running on Server 2 please send me an email to 'Support (at) NinjaTrader (dot) com' with the subject of 'Attention: Lowell'. So that I may further assist you.

                            As for .16 and later versions NinjaTrader will require a username and password when setting up an SMTP server connection.
