futures charts

i remember having issues with this a couple years back... ive just setup NT again and a lot of my futures charts dont load. example - CT (cotton)... just has a 0.01 to 0 price bar. Also, when I try to load Daily charts, there is a lot of gapping. I remember there were some easy fixes to these issues, and would greatly appreciate any help

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

What contract month is selected?

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

NT X=16
Connected to CQG
Contact month is 03-14
No errors on contact... in log (CTEH4 is not enabled for realtime trading) --- i guess this explains it!

But regarding long term continuous contracts ie... when I try to make a daily chart of CL, there is a lot of gapping in the daily bars.

Can you provide me with an image of the CL chart so that I can compare to the data which I am able to load here?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the image to your response.

Hello vrumchev,

When viewing the daily chart of the CL from CQG you are viewing the RTH session.

To be able to select the time frame used for daily bars you will want to chart 1440 minute bars.
