Placing orders in chart trader outside trading hours?

hi community,

how can i enable chart trader to accept orders outside the market hours? I would like to place my orders on the chart long bevore the market opens, but i can't get chart trader to allow me to place them on right click (whatever session template i use) while the market is closed.

I am connected with IB while trying this and i can enter the same orders directly on TWS and they are accepted by IB.

Hello puravida,

Unfortunately you can only submit orders in NinjaTrader when realtime data is received. If no realtime data is received in the chart, you will not be able to submit orders.

It would be a nice feature if we could use the "pending" feature from IB while trading with NT, maybe you could forward this to the development team? In TWS such order placement is no problem, IB holds the order as pending and submits it as soon as the market opens.
