    Preserving "Data Series" settings

The background to my chart is black. Because of this I like to change the price marker color setting under data series to crimson. This is set and saved as a template. Lets say that I have done that and I am looking at the SPY. Now I decide that I want to look at a stock. Say IBM. when I load IBM ninja will immediately go back to the default price marker color of black. I now have to reload the template that I saved to have the color I want.
This is a little annoying. Especially if you might be looking through 50 to 100 elements each day.
Is there any way to prevent ninja from ignoring my personalizations and loading its default settings. Thank you.

    Hello mcteague,

The setting for 'Price market color' is not saved as part of a chart template.

Chart template will save indicators, indicator settings and chart settings.

To save a setting in the Data Series window you will need to right click in the Data Series window and select 'Set Default for ' ' Period Type'. You will need to do this for each period type you want the setting saved for. Period type being Minute, Tick, Day ect.

Below is a link to the Saving Chart Defaults section of our help guide.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
