Quick/basic questions about connection order/logic

Let us assume I first connect to IQFeed, then I connect to IB.
Next, I enable a strategy to trade on an account on IB.
Where is the strategy getting the data from - IQFeed, or IB?

You would receive the data from IQ Feed.

Q2) If my primary datafeed fails, will it *only* roll over to the backup feed if I have selected the "Backup datafeed connection". If I have not selected this box, presumably I will not be getting data until the primary feed is re-established?
