Obtain open position after restarting scripts

If scripts restart for any reasons, such as lost internet, power cycles etc, how to get previous open positions?

Could I get these infor directly from the stock account such as TDAmeritrade instead of storing the infor locally?

In this case you would want to change your submit settings for the strategy so that it can recognize previously placed orders.

Most likely you'd want the Immediately submit sync = false option.
