ALERT: Missing historical data on CL

    Unfortunately these are not free. However I believe IQFeed provides a free demo connection.

    I am not aware of another source to download historical data.

      Regarding the historical data server is this not with CQG. I'm a little confused with the server architecture here. Where can I get further info on how NT & a third party data provider (real time & historical data) all fit together?

        Hello Brutus,

        CQG only provides realtime data in NinjaTrader. Historical data is loaded from our historical data server.

        You can find information regarding using multiple connections simultaneously in NinjaTrader at the link below.

          I'm having the same problem here. This is very inconvenient. So we have to wait a week until the servers are fixed or pay for another data feed to replace CQG data during the meantime?

            I have been informed that the server is recording historical data again. Unfortunately the missing historical data cannot be restored until next weekend.

              Can you clear up for me what you mean by "historical" data?

              Data I had earlier today has all disappeared when I reloaded my charts

                By historical data we mean past data - data which is not taking place at this very moment.

                  So any idea why data already received has gone AWOL?

                  NT lost some data over the weekend. But after the early posts today NT said that the problem was resolved but that the already missing data could not be restored till the weekend.

                  So why is more data going missing now?
