Windows 8 and Ninja Trader Cant Install

I have tried multiple times to install Ninja Trader and Start it but it doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions on what to do. I used Ninja Trader for years but took a break have a active liscense but can get it to install.

Ninja trader stopped working

Trys to start then says Ninja Trader Stopped working that is it,

With certain hardware configurations when paired with Windows 8 a specific update will need to be uninstalled. This update is KB2836988

Open your windows control center -> Programs and features -> Uninstall or change a program -> upper left side there will be a view installed updates, please click this -> locate KB2836988 -> right click -> uninstall -> restart your computer and launch NinjaTrader
