ATM strategies gone after restore

Dear Sir,

Would like to solve this for my friend. He is orginally running 7.9. He did a backup, then uninstall 7.9 and reinstall 7.16. On running, it said unable to connect to database because it's too large. He then deleted all the .std file and restart Ninja so a fresh database is created. After restoring the backup to 7.18, it seems everything is OK but all the ATM strategies in the SuperDOM are gone. What should be done?

Thank you for your forum post.


ATM strategy templates, session templates, custom instruments and instrument lists are all saved to the database file.



Since a new database file is being used, ATM strategy templates, session templates, custom instruments and instrument lists will need to be recreated.

Dear Sir,

Problem solved. Sorry for the trouble. The ATM strategies won't appear just after restore but they will come back if you restart NinjaTrader.
