Price jumps

Please see attached circled areas in the chart. This is where price "jumped" on the chart. I assume this has something to do with the datafeed (I am using CQG). And when it occurs at a good entry point for a trade it is quite irritating. Is there a way to do something about that?

Hi Sandman,

Can you please right click in the chart--> Reload All Historical Data to see if that corrects the issue. If it doesn't then unfortunately there is nothing we can do about as the data is provided to us this way and we only display it.

I did that. These gaps still show. I understand that NT can't do anything about that but what causes it?

Hi Sandman,

This could be because of volume start to slowly shifting towards 12-13 for the CL contract. So the 11-13 would not be as liquid as it usually would be as some volume is already headed over there.

It could also be there are just some more 'less liquid days' while bigger orders coming in.

Another reason could be that it would be outside of regular Pit market hours. Although the CL is traded around the clock, Volume would be higher during the regular market hours.
