Min charts from Tick data

Hi there,

I am trying to bring up a 5 min chart for a contract that I have tick data for but it wont display.

I thought NT could draw other time frames from tick data, is that not correct?

Hello GKonheiser,

Yes, tick data is used to create other time frames such as volume, seconds, renko and range bars. However it cannot build minute bars. Minute bars are created by minute data only.

You can perform the following workaround. Export the tick data and re-import it again. When re-importing, please enable 'Generate Minute bars from imported tick data'. Instructions can be found at the link below.

when reimporting should I select end of bar timestamp or start of bar ?

And what timezone should I select ?

Please select 'end of bar time'.
