Is it possible to chart percentage trailing stops?
Is it possible to put on a chart a line representing a percentage trailing stop so to optimize it? If so how would you go about it? Thank you!Tags: None

Hello AirborneTrader,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!
You may wish to use ATM Strategies with the Chart Trader to adjust your Stop Loss manually via the chart.
For information on the Chart Trader please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...art_trader.htm
For information on ATM Strategies please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...gement_atm.htm
You can manually place a drawing object on the chart but it will not have any relation to your Stop Loss or Stop Strategy (Auto Trail or Auto Breakeven).
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

What I'm trying to do is to have a line represent a percentage stop loss just so I can analyse it similarly to a moving average so I can pick an optimum percentage. Too tight and there would be too many stops initiated for example. Some software do this.. It would be great if it could through Ninjatrader which I'm new to. Thank you!
