    Reloading missing data

    Hi Support,

I am on Ninja 6.5.0.10 I found some gaps in intraday data in my ES futures for last week with zenfire feed. I usually reload data, when I found gaps in data, by Tools-->HistoricalData-->Reload. But the "reload" button is not clickable.

How can I reload intraday missing data?

    Thanks
    RK

    Thank you for your post.

Are you connected when you try to reload the data?

Are you connected to a datafeed that provides historical data?

Please take a look at this link to see what data is available from your datafeed:

Yes Jessica. I am connected to zenfire feed only, which provides historical intraday tick/min data.

But the "Reload" button is not active and not clickable. Is this a bug in 6.5.0.10?

      Thanks

        Hi Support,

I think I found the problem. I didn't had zenfire enabled for historical data. After I enabled it, the reload button is now active and clickable.

This raises one more question for me. I use multiple feeds. zenfire for intraday realtime and intraday historical. I also have IQfeed, both realtime and historical, but I want to use IQ for only historical. So, how can I configure in Ninja, to specify to use IQ for only daily data and not realtime data?

I am connecting to zenfire first and then IQfeed 2nd, is that good order to connect?

        Thanks
        RK

          Hi RK,

If you connect to Zen-Fire first, you will receive real-time data from them. However, you will also request historical data from Zen-Fire. If the historical data is not available from Zen-Fire, NinjaTrader will request the data from DTN IQ. More information about multiple connections can found in the link below.

Thanks Jasson for the reply. But is there anyway to configure in Ninja, so that it downloads only historical daily/weekly data from IQ and not realtime /historical intraday data from IQfeed?

            Thanks

Unfortunately you cannot split the pull of data in that fashion at the moment.

                Thanks Josh.

Support, if possible I request to add this feature to future enhancements,so that one can select what data one can download from IQfeed. SO, that a user has an option of using IQ for only historical daily/weekly data.

                Thanks
                RK

                  RK,

I will pass this on to development and ask if they can put this on the list for future enhancements of the software.
