Viewing 3 years of imported ES data on chart?

I have imported 3,5 years of historical 1-minute data for the ES future (jan 2010 to sep 2013), from a text file named "ES 09-13.Last.txt".

How do I view the entire 3,5 year period of data in a single continous chart?

When I try to create a new instrument called ES 09-13 and open it as a chart, I only see data from June until now instead of the entire 3,5 years, despite choosing to load 1500 days of data.

What am I missing here? BTW, I am currently not connected to any data providers, I work only with offline imported data right now.

Thank you for your post.

I'd recommend re-importing this data in to the continuous symbol directly. (import using the file name 'ES ##-##.Last.txt'' then chart using the symbol ES ##-##)

Thanks for the quick reply! Will try this tomorrow morning.

Another question: For the ES future I have 24 hour-data from 2008-2010, and data only from open market hours (09:30-16:15 ET) from 2010-2013. Is it possible to view all this data (2008-2013) in the same chart even though the hours of available data change during the period?

This is possible. NinjaTrader will display whatever data is available within the Historical Data Manager.
