How to load Monthly charts

Hello. I'm attempting to load monthly charts with Kinetick. My period in the Data Seriers box is Type: Month, Value 12. I get nothing. Can someone help me with this.

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

What contract month do you have selected?

What is the merge policy set to? You can check by going to Tools > Options > Data tab and checking the setting for Merge policy.

I've selected 11/13 for the contract month and the Merge Policy is MergeBackAdjusted.

Thank you for the replies.

Please disconnect from Kinetick, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

Thanks ChristopherS. I did that. As I mentioned before I have Monthly selected with a value of 12. What I'm getting now is 6 Yearly bars. Any suggestions.

To see more data on the chart you will need to increase the Days to load setting in the Data Series window.

You can do this by right clicking on the chart and selecting Data Series. Then in the Data Series window selecting Days to load, increasing the value and pressing OK.

I had 5475 days to load which is 15 years. I increased it to 10,000 with no change. Also why am I getting yearly bars instead of monthly bars when monthly is selected?

Ok, the issue was the Value in the period. I set it at 12 thinking there are 12 months in a year. I set it to 1 and it's reading properly, but I can't get any data past the middle of 2008 no matter what I do.

If connected to Kinetick first, all data will come from Kinetick.

To receive futures data from Zen-Fire you will need to connect to Zen-Fire first.

Right. So I disconnect Kinetick and reconnect to my ZenFire feed. Will what we did to enable the Monthly chart effect the data received from ZenFire?
