ATM Strategies and Stop Losses

can ATM strategies only be set before entering a trade?

if so, then is there any other way to set a stop loss? I want to set a stop loss once I am in a trade and then have the ability to determine where I want the stop to be?

if there is no manual way to do it, can it be done with ninjascript?

Hello NinjaCustomer,

You will need to select the ATM Strategy prior to placing the order or entering into the position.

You can manually place a protective stop and profit target order.

To do this you will want to right click on the order entry window you are using and select OCO Order. Then place either a stop market or a stop limit order as the stop loss order, place a limit order as the profit target order then right click on the order entry window and uncheck OCO Order.

so there is no way just to place a stop loss order ? I must place a simulataneous stop loss and take profit order?

If you intend to place only an order to act as a stop loss things become simpler. You would just need to place an order to exit the position. For instance, if long 1 place an order to sell 1 at your desired exit price.
