Still no fibo fan

I've seen dozen of threads requesting a Fibonacci fan, some from 7 (!) years ago, but still nothing.

Shouldn't be that hard to code, so what's the reason for the slack?

Combo Fan Suggestion...

How about having a fan where one could put in price and time proportions of the 1X1 line. This way you could have a Gann fan or Fibonacci fan set up as the user may wish....or any other particular options the user may desire. Have perhaps a minimum of 16 price and time boxes to insert proportional values of your choice....that is be able to divide both price and time by 8 divisions minimum. Different colors etc on each division line. And be able to save different set ups and access them easily.

Oh....and be able to highlight the tool by clicking on any line....
also be able to cut off lines at the end of the 1X1 line or extend them in any increments beyond the 1X1 line as the user may wish.

Squaring price and time...

In this same area...once the fan tool may be revised perhaps look into creating a squaring of price and time tool...where custom fans come from the 4 corners of a square or rectangle.

A few more fan and squares suggestions...

Here are some additional suggestions on fans and squares...

The slope of the 1 X 1 fan line could be set in 2 ways...

One: as a graphic draw tool...draw the 1 X 1 line between selected chart points.
this line slope would be auto saved to duplicate this particular fan slope in the immediate future if desired.
The initial length of fan lines of the hand drawn fan would be to the right end of the 1 X 1 line. These initial fan lines could be extended in user selected increments of the initial 1 X 1 line.

Two: set the slope as the current Gann Fan tool is set...in points per bar.
(Since the ruler in Ninja does not count bars accurately, perhaps it would be better to set the slope in points for a selected time ??)
In this method the initial length of the 1 X 1 line and other fan lines would also be defined by the user as a selected number of bars...
then this line could generally also be extended in increments of the initial set up, as selected by the user, if desired.

These two methods could be options selected in Properties.

You really do not necessarily need all of the fan lines from every fan running on forever all over your chart as they currently do.



The 1 X 1 lines in a squaring price and time tool would be set in similar ways as suggested above.
Here the 1 X 1 line would always be the diagonals of the desired square or rectangle.
One should be able to adjust the location and size of the square by dragging
or by defining the 1 X 1 line slope in points per bar for horizontal and vertical size.
Consider adding optional horizontal and vertical lines at price and time increments of each custom fan line within the square.

W. D. Gann called Squaring Price and Time the most important of all of his many trading innovations....
This is something that definitely would be desirable and useful in Ninja.

This looks pretty good...& well done.

However, in the box suggested below (post #8) you would be able to divide the box with specific fibonacci ratios or with any other ratios as one may wish....one would not be limited to just Gann ratios.
