ASX Stocks via Interactive Brokers

Hi. I'm still on NT 7.0.1000.11. I've not seen any release notes that would tell me an update is required.

Also, I think we need to confirm the mapping before going down any update path - it might be a good easy fix.

The mapping would be BHP. Make sure 'Currency' is set to Australian Dollar. This works on my end, see screenshot. Can you please upgrade to our latest version. Subsequently check if you can load data.

If not, please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager and remove the BHP from your instrument list.

Highlight the BHP in the 'Available master instruments', make sure 'Exchange' is set to Asx and click the arrow pointing to the left. Click OK.

Create a new chart for the BHP and check if data is loaded.

Can u please clarify Are you are to use ninjatrader with IB for delayed data on US stocks or will ninjatrader only work for markets which you have live feeds with IB

Like Jason mentioned, I can also confirm that for Interactive Brokers the mapping is definitely just the ASX stock code itself (eg 'BHP')... this is the mapping we incorporate into our Easy Load ASX installer for the Interactive Brokers connection.
If you're setting up the code manually ensure when configuring the exchange to tick 'Default' exchange, for equities, in addition to the actual exchange ('ASX' in this case).
