XAU unknown symbol from Kinetick

[pls2000]

I have the latest free version of NT installed. I am connected to Kinteick and trying to display a chart for XAU. This fails with the message "Unable to load historical data unknown symbol".

XAU is in the instrument list and for Kinetick maps to XAU.X. The symbol search on the Kinetick web site shows this symbol.

How can I diagnose this problem?

1.) Are you using the free Kinetick EOD feed or a live account?

2.) Which version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)

The free version of Kinetick. I have NT 7.0.100.15
