Latest version?

This might be a stupid question but how does one know if one is running the latest version or not? Where on the website does it tell you what the latest version is?

Thank you for your post.

To determine if you are using the current version of NinjaTrader you'll first need to check the Help > About menu to determine which version you're currently using. That information is shown near the top of the window in a 7.0.1000.X format.

Once you've made note of the version, please check NinjaTrader's download page where we will clearly label a release as the current release: http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration

At this time, NinjaTrader's current release is the 7.0.1000.15 release.

It would be nice to be able to check the website for the current version without having to find my license number and paste it in then click a combo box, etc.

The web site in the link provided seems to be only for new users.

At some times, I get a MessageBox informing of a new version when opening NT, but I did not get such notification for going from 8.0.1.0 to 8.0.2.0.

All users should have received an in product announcement about the most recent version. If you did not receive one, that would be unexpected.

Another way to check the current version would be to look in the help guide at the release notes:
