Abort Option Disappeared

Hi,

The abort option has in the 'Control Screen' has disappeared for a WFO exercise I'm doing. It has been running for 10 hours now so really don't want to lose what is has done so far. It has 13 hours to go and I'm interested to know the results now. I think I might want to optimize on a different goal.

How else can I abort this?

Thank you for your post.

There is no other method to abort the backtest, unless you wish to shut down NinjaTrader which will mean you would lose the progress so far on the WFO. You can wait out the WFO or shut down NinjaTrader to abort the process completely.

Okay. I've got another 10 hours to wait then . Is this a bug within NT? Its happened to me before but on much shorter exercises so hasn't been a problem.

This would not be a bug and is usually seen in complicated scripts with multiple parameters. Do you see the same behavior when running a backtest on the same from and to date range for the SampleMaCrossOver?

Does your script at any place Print() to the Output Window, or write to the log?
