add forward space to a chart

On a regular chart I want to add some space to the right of where current price ends so I can project out trendlines and such. How do I do that?

I know that I grab the chart and move it to the right or left. But the time on the bottom is not added. So I guess that I am really asking how to add future time to a chart.

Hello mcteague,

Please right click on the chart and select Properties.

Then in the Properties window select 'Right side margin' increase the value and press OK.
