10-Year Treasury Note Futures Dec-13 Chart Issue (IB)

Hello,

I am having problems with charting the US 10-Year Treasury Note Futures Dec-13 (ZNZ13). I am connected to my Interactive Brokers account and using 240-Minute charts for this instrument.

The chart for the previous contract, ZNU13, is fine. When I create a chart for the next contract, ZNZ13, it looks as if NT is using the data from ZNU13 for all but the last data point resulting in identical bars except for the last bar, which becomes a wide range bar lower.

To illustrate this I have attached a single chart showing both instruments.

I have tried deleting the data and recreating the chart(s), but to no avail.

Please advise how to fix this?

Thank you for your post.

This issue relates to how NinjaTrader merges and back adjusts data in charts. To overcome the issue:

• Open the Options menu. (Tools > Options)
• Navigate to the Data tab.
• Set 'Merge Policy' to 'DoNotMerge' then click OK.
• Reload chart data.
