Kinetick historical data not loading
I purchased Kinetick data to backtest 150 days but I don't see any difference from my Zenfire data, which clearly is not correct. I have reloaded all data while connected only to Kinetick to no availTags: None

The trace file is a diagnostic file which you'll find in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder. The file which I need would be named 'trace.20130828.txt'.KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

I have gaps in data including entire missing days on the minute charts.

Thanks for your note.
What instrument are you attempting to view on your chart? (e.g. ES 09-13)
What interval is set for this chart? (e.g. 1 Minute)
Who are you connected to? (This is indicated in green in the lower left corner of the Control Center)
Do you see any errors in the log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors say?Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I am looking at CL 10-13 and NQ 09-13
I am using woodie bars from microtrends and 1 minute bars. I noticed entire days mssing on the 1 minute bars, but maybe not on the woodie bars- I can't be sure though.
Kinetick and Zen-Fire
i cannot open the log since the program is crashing as per another forum thread, but this happened prior to that

I am using kinetick paid subscription. It connects after ZenFire, but I have tried it the other way around as well.
It looks like some of the missing days have resolved, but the chart won't go back further than march even though I have it set to go back 365 day. the data in march looks very spotty and before that it is complete garbage

What is your merge policy set to?
You can find this by clicking Tools -> Options... -> select the Data tab -> look for the value of Merge policy:
May I have a screenshot of the chart with the suspicious data? Please ensure the instrument and dates are showing on the chart.
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Hello damientheo,
Thanks for sending in screenshot to support.
The NQ was trading on the 06-13 contract front month from between March 3rd and June 13th 2013. Because of this, the 09-13 contract had very little volume and has periods where no trading happened which causes the gaps.
Looking at the data on the NQ 06-13 expiry shows this data as smooth.
To view this data continuously on one chart without adjusting the old expiry to match the new expiry, change your Merge policy to MergeNonBackAdjusted.
