Performance Report Editing

Hello,

I have found errors in some of my trade entries and exits in the performance report. This occurs when I enter a trade externally through IB or when I do not use a ATM Strategy when placing trades. Is there a way to manually edit and correct these trades so they will be listed correctly in the performance report. Thanks.

Please try right click on the executions tab to find edit/add options.

Hello,

When I right click on the execution tab in the performance window I do not see an edit/add option. I only see: Chart, Print, Export, Save As and Grid Properties. When linked to IB in the main window Executions Tab I get Add and Remove but that is only for the current days trades. I need to go back in time and changed the values in the Performance Report. Thanks.

That's too bad. It would be nice to be able to correct errors in the performance report. Seems like it should be easy to do. Can you add this to a future version? Also is there a way to export the entire performance data base into Excel so I can edit it there? Thanks.

I will forward your suggestion to our development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations for the software.

You can right click in the performance report and select "Export to Excel" to export the information.

I'm wondering if there is still no way to edit an existing trade? I had a commission change and would like to go back and edit some trades that don't reflect that change.

Thank you for your post.

There is no way to edit orders, but you could remove the execution, and then add an updated execution manually. This would be done from the Executions tab.

If the order occurred on a different day you will want to change your system's date and time to the day of the order, and then add/remove the execution for that day.
