Quickly Measuring between two points

Is there a quicker way to measure between two data points i.e. price bars? I know the ruler does this, but it is incredibly slow and cumbersome to make multiple measurements, especially if I don't want to draw lines or annotate. I use this alot and the ruler feature is very slow in achieving this, unlike Qcharts or esignal.

I really like NT, but as much as I use this, it is pushing me towards a different program for my needs.

I can't be the only person that needs/uses this? Hopefully someone has come up with a solution?

I can understand that the ruler is too slow to use for you and I would like to put in a feature request in your behalf for improvements to this tool.

Would you have a description of how you would like to see this tool work?

Ideally, a field in the data box that displays the same thing that a ruler would provide - the distance between two bars. Click on the first bar, then as you are scrolling across the chart horizontally, the field in the databox displays the number of bars from the original selected bar.

I can't be the first person to ask about this?
