VIX symbol with ZenFire feed

Can anyone explain to me how I can add the VIX symbol to my Instrument List - I have the Zen Fire feed. Have serached through help and the forum to no avail. Any help at all or a point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately, VIX is not supported with Zen-Fire, since Zen-Fire only supports futures data. The VIX in an index and thus not supported.

try opentick.com

I have set up various market internals (tick,trin...) with a secondary feed from opentick.com. Data is free but there are exchange fees involved. Hope this points you in the right direction!
