FXCM demo no equity problem

I have an fxcm demo account but has the following problem:

no cash value, equity or buying power showing up on the control panel.
I talked with fxcm but they couldn't really help.

NT 64bit 7.0.1000.15
licence key fxcm provided for demo
connection seems fine (I get quotes)

tried on the different machines with the same results (home machine , vps)

any idea what to check or where to change?

Hello Akos_,

Unfortunately the free license key is limited to trade the NinjaTrader sim101 account. If you like to trade an external account whether demo or live, you require a live license key.

When I connect to a FXCM demo account on my end, I do not display these values either in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab.

ok I understand now, but in this case the demo of a particular provider is not really useful for anything...
I cannot test the any of the individual characteristics of that provider, only NinjaTrader...
