closing position after n number of days

Hi,

Is there anything in Ninjascript which I can use if I want to close a losing position if n number of days have elapsed?

Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forums!

Yes, this would be possible in NinjaScript it would just require some custom programming to be able to do so. An example of this would be to use a variable to get the Date when your order was filled and then check the date compared to the number of days that you want to close it out on.

We have a reference that goes over using Time filters that you may view at the following link but you may want to use the ToDay method.
