I am using the dll and am trying to write some code so that should positions in the market get out sync with the charts 1. It will correct it and 2. notify me via email / cell phone.
This is the first of the risk control functionality I plan to build into it.
Being that NTMarketPosition("") will return the total market positions for all charts running the same instrument and the ones for the strategies do not cover the universe of charts running on the same pair, but rather reports the position for the specific chart applied to.
It is critical to me to be able to compare the theoretical and reality and have the computer take actions to get things into alignment and after X attempts take everything flat and shutdown trading.
In the future I will be monitoring my UPS power, Internet feed, Brokerage connection, TS 8.3 for data flow and others.
