Amazon EC2 help needed

Looking for some help relating to running NJT on Amazon EC2. I have been doing some research using google and Amazons' help info but still having a hard time figuring it out. Some questions I have:
Do I have to install MS windows on the server? How do I then access my server/instance?
I know these are pretty basic questions but everything on the net seems to be geared towards business applications and linux etc.

Yes you will need to have Microsoft Windows installed on the server in order to run NinjaTrader.

• Minimum PC Requirements

I am not familiar with the Amazon EC2 service but you should be able to log into the server remotely and access a remote desktop.
