Kinetick plus IB - info on strategy tab

Hi,

today I purchased a datafeed with Kinetick and installed the connection through the wizard (connect on startup). After connecting to the Kinetick feed I connected to my simulated account with IB.

What I try to achieve is trade in my simulated IB account, but use Kinetick live data as input for my strategy. When I activate the strategy and then look at the strategy tab I see:
- account: ID of my sim account at IB
- connection: IB Simulation <= is this correct???

I am asking, because the info on the strategy tab for a second strategy that I run on Sim101 looks like this:
- account: Sim101
- connection: Kinetick LIVE <= this is the name of my new Kinetick data feed

Why doesn't the Kinetick data feed show up for the first strategy? Does it use Kinetick data as input anyway (because I connected to Kinetick before I connected to IB)?

This is as expected - it will list the connection of the account. This does not mean realtime data is received from IB. NinjaTrader receives realtime data from the first connected connection - Kinetick.

I was confused, because "connection" is ambiguous. Maybe in future updates you could have two columns:
- trading connection (where the orders go through)
- data connection (where the market info goes through)
