filtering out kinetick weekend data?

is there a way to filter out kinetick weekend data [ie] so that bars displayed on a chart are for weekdays only?

Thanks for your note.

The days and times of bars on a chart are controlled by the session template.

Which session template are you using?

Right-click chart -> select Data Series... -> in the parameters on the right what is set to Session Template?

Try using the Default 24/5 template. This template will exclude weekends.

You can also make your own session template.

• Click Tools -> Session Manager
• Click the New button for a new session template
• Click the Add.. button to add days and times
• Click Save before ok to save the template

Can I somehow do it on a Strategy Analyzer chart? The data series button appears to be muted for the Analyzer?

Hi joemiller,

You can set the session template in the Strategy Analyzer, however, you will do this in the backtest parameters for the Session template and not on the chart.

Let me know if you would like a screenshot of where to find this.

I failed to mention that I am working with the Eurodollar/US Dollar pair, so I chose the Forex session template and it looks like it's working beautifully. That makes life a lot easier. Your help is much appreciated.
