    Account Performance - Trades - Market Pos

    LONG BEARS SHOW UP AS SHORTS and CALCULATES AS A SHORT

    When I trade a long position on FAZ , a 3x bear . It shows up as a Short in the Market Pos. column and calculates as a short to the profit columns. meaning a win long will calc as short and as a profit loss.

    Seems to Appear on Long bears such as NUGT which is a gold bear

    Where is the "Short" in the Market Pos. column being extracted from and can i adjust?

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

    You cannot adjust the MarketPosition column in the Trades tab of the Account Performance tab to List Bear or Bull. It will list the Market Position based on the direction the trade was taken.

    If this is not the correct direction of the trade please try setting the From Date on the Account Performance tab back to an earlier date and then left click Generate.

      Hi Patrick, not looking to customize the column, the column indicates a "Short" in a long position, trade periods, time and date , entry and exits are correct. it only affects FAZ and NUGT , these tickers are 3x bears and was wondering if the description or ticker description is causing this to take a long and call it short and calculate it as a short.

        Please send me your database file so that I may look into what occurred.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support-> ensure the Database file option is selected.

        Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 888204

          I keep recieving a connection error on the help/mail to support, i will try to email by other mail, how do i capture my data base

            Please use the following service to send the database to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com: https://www.wetransfer.com/

            Please place 'ATTN: Patrick - 888204' in the subject line.
            You will find your database in the following directory on your PC: (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db > the file will be named 'NinjaTrader' and will be a SDF file type.
