Scaling lock up

When I adjust the scaling for the chart in the x axis, NinjaTrader sometimes reaches 100 percent cpu utilization and pretty much locks there. Is that supposed to happen ?

This isn't a loading problem, it only happens when I adjust the scaling. I have 3 similar charts, I can re-scale 2 of them with no problem. The scale also goes very wide, like to 1 point, when I'm trying to adjust to 20 points. It then cannot be drag/dropped back, it resets itself to the 1 point range when I try to drag/drop.

The performance tips which I linked you to don't deal only with loading problems. The same steps should apply here. Please give the steps listed at the link a try.

Please outline what the workspace consists of so I can provide tips. For instance, are you able to reduce the total number of charts? Reduce the number of days of data requested in those charts? Ultimately you will need to scale back to free up system resources which is my whole point here.
