fxcm connection

Hello,

I have a live account with fxcm uk and i wanted to use the nt 7 but when i try to connect i get the error message that my account has hedging capabilities and therefore i can't use nt !!??

What is that all about and how could i use nt in this case ?

Hello PhantomFX,

Unfortunately you will not be able to connect when hedging is enabled as per your FXCM account. If you like to connect to FXCM in NinjaTrader, please contact FXCM and disable hedging.

As I understand it, hedging is prohibited in the US.
However, in Europe it's still allowed.
I'm from The Netherlands which is part of Europe.
Why do I have to disable hedging before I can use Ninja in combination with FXCM?

This is a requirement of the software and our relationship with FXCM. Unfortunately, no work around which would allow you to connect with an account which allows hedging is possible.
