Keeping Strategies & Control Center Config on NT move

Hello,

I would appreciate some help in finding out how to keep the configuration of grids, list of strategies, etc in the Control Center configuration on moving NT from one computer to another.

I can keep the configuration of Strategy templates and charts by copying the templates directory and saved workspaces, but am unable to do the same for list of strategies and the configuration of various grid items in the Control Center.

In addition, if I reset the database, I lose the list of strategies in the control center and have to manually reenter them all. Is there anyway to retrieve this? Thanks.

Hello,

The Control Center Grids are saved in the Documents\NinjaTrader 7\Workspaces\_Workspaces.xml

This will contain the Strategy grids as well.

Unfortunately resetting your database will result in the strategies removed from this grid. There is no way to preserver this is you choose to reset your database as the strategy Id will be lost during this process.
