Custom data series for chart input

I know I can use a user created data series for input to an indicator. Can I use a custom data series as input to the chart like a custom data feed?

Example: Currently I use a data feed like the ES to draw my price chart bars and base all my other indicators on. This is how Ninja normally works and what everyone does. I want to modify the ES price used for the actual price bar charting/plotting so the actual bars use the custom data feed to plot from.

In the same way I add an instrument I would like to add my own custom instrument.

Can you please elaborate on the type of change which you're looking to make? How are you changing the instrument exactly? (As you'd imagine, this is critical in determining whether or not the change is possible)
