    Charts older than one year?

I'm using IQFeed to look up historical data in Ninja, but in the instrument manager I can't select contracts older than one year from today. When I select the "##-##" expiration date however I notice that I can still pull data for the historical dates I want -- is that correct? Is this the same price data I'd see if the older contract dates were still available? Is there somewhere I can find more information about the "##-##" function?

    Hello LightWeight,

    Thank you for your note.

The '##-##' expiry links to the continuous contract. The data is back adjusted in order to combine past contracts but would be the same as what you would see in a chart of a dated expiry by default.
