Loading Data when not needed

The Control Centre seems to go into overdrive consuming resources attempting to load data for $AUDUSD.
I have deleted all spot instruments from the instrument manager and I have disconnected from the Spot Broker but still I get this persistent Loading Data message which I believe may be causing other problems on my platform. There a no charts open for this instrument....why why why.

Hello PeterBrazel,

Can you please exit NinjaTrader and go to C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db and delete the "cache" folder. Start NinjaTrader and check if the issue remains when AUDUSD data is loaded.
